Basil Market and Deli is Cork’s newest foodie haven, nestled in the centre of Ballintemple village.

Owners, Gareth & Carole Kendellen have many years in the Hospitality & Catering Industry and together they have recruited a team of three fabulous chefs and refined Basil into what it is today.

They launched their online platform, basil.ie, within a week of the national lockdown in March.

Since then, the Ballintemple couple have seen orders for their products, care packs & hampers come from Singapore, Dubai, Australia, Japan, the UK & to be delivered locally to relatives and friends.
